Privacy notice

The short version

You can read everything on SimplyPet without giving us any personal information. We don't use cookies, advertising trackers or social media pixels. We use privacy-friendly analytics that don't identify you.

What we collect

• Website analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It doesn't use cookies or local storage, and doesn't build a profile of you or track you across other websites.
• Server and security logs. Our site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: keeping the site running and secure.
• Emails you send us. If you email us, we use your address and message to reply. We keep them only as long as we need to deal with your message. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.

Who we share data with

Cloudflare, Inc. provides our hosting, security, analytics and email forwarding, acting as our processor. Cloudflare may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We don't sell personal data or share it with insurers.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data. To use them, email hello@simplypet.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change how we use data, for example by adding a newsletter, we'll update this notice and the date at the top before we start.
