Your pet's health

Breed tendencies describe what's more common across a breed. They don't predict what will happen to any individual animal. If you're worried about your pet, contact your vet. In an emergency, contact your vet or an out-of-hours emergency vet straight away.

When we describe a cover type as suiting a particular breed, we're explaining how policy features interact with that breed's health risks, not recommending a product. Policy terms vary and change.
